Born on January 19, 1987, Iftekharul Anam is a profoundly gifted artist whose musical expression transcends boundaries. With deep roots in Sufi, world, folk, classical, ambient, electronic, and new-age genres, his artistry is a soulful exploration of spiritual consciousness, shaped by his devotion to Sufism.

A versatile musician, Iftekharul Anam performs on the flute (bansuri), keyboards, and also lends his expressive vocals to his compositions. His debut album, Yaun (2019), marked the beginning of a rich musical journey dedicated to weaving sonic landscapes that nurture both body and mind.

Rasika Shekar

Singer • Flautist • Composer • The “Queen of Bansuri”

Rasika Shekar is an internationally acclaimed Indo‑American flautist, vocalist, composer, and music producer, celebrated for her mastery of the Indian bamboo flute (pullankuzhal/bansuri) and her soul‑stirring vocal artistry. Trained in both Carnatic and Hindustani classical traditions from a young age, her musical foundation was shaped by distinguished gurus including Smt. Gowri Ramakrishnan, Dr. Bhavani Prakash, Shashank Subramaniam, and Pt. Shrikanth Waikar. Holding a chemical engineering degree from Rutgers University, she pivoted to music full-time and received a scholarship to study at Berklee College of Music in Valencia, where she immersed herself in jazz, flamenco, and world fusion—elevating her sound to a truly global dimension. Rasika Shekar began her career touring with Ustad Ghulam Ali Khan and made her Bollywood debut with music trio Shankar‑Ehsaan‑Loy. Her standout flute performance in MTV Coke Studio’s Man Patang showcased her versatility. She has since collaborated with global icons like AR Rahman, John McLaughlin, and Vijay Iyer, and was featured on the Grammy-winning album Divine Tides.

Sarah Jeffery

Sarah Jeffery is one of the world’s foremost promoters of the recorder, and a passionate champion of both early and contemporary music. She has commissioned and premiered dozens of contemporary works and is regularly found performing on stages and festivals all over the globe. Off-stage, she is recognized as an expert on the instrument, appearing on the BBC, as well as being a regular feature on radio and television. For her efforts, she has received praise for “standing out from the established repertoire” and “fresh, surprising, and explosive” performances from Dutch NRC newspaper, and “the height of sonic and soundtrack cool, out there at the edges of compositional innovation and performative possiblity” from BBC Radio 3. In 2022 she was appointed ‘Recorder Professor Specialising in Contemporary Music’ at the Royal College of Music in London.

Recent accolades include a nomination at the prestigious REMA European Early Music awards for her Youtube channel Team Recorder, and being awarded Best of Classical Music 2020 in the NRC for the production While We Live, which also gathered 25 awards and nominations at international film festivals worldwide. She was recently appointed Honorary Vice President of the Society of Recorder Players in the UK, for her services to the music community. Off-stage, she is recognized as an expert on the instrument and a consummate professional presenter whether on Radio 3, discussing music education with Jeremy Vine on Radio 2,  or producing books for major publishers. She is regularly asked for appointments in Hollywood, whether recording the soundtrack to Bob’s Burgers or producing content for Netflix and Disney.

Dawson Horey is a versatile and dedicated woodwind doubler and multi-instrumentalist, known for their ability to perform fluently across a wide range of woodwind instruments. Their expertise includes saxophones, flutes, clarinets, oboe, and an extensive collection of world woodwinds such as duduk, pennywhistles, and other traditional instruments from global musical traditions.

Dawson holds a Master’s degree in Woodwind Doubling from New Jersey City University, where they refined their skills under the mentorship of prominent Broadway woodwind chair holders. This training provided a strong foundation in stylistic accuracy, instrumental flexibility, and the technical demands of professional theatre performance.

Ashley Jarmack

Woodwind Specialist & Ethnic Winds Artist

Ashley Jarmack is a New York–born, Los Angeles–based woodwind specialist and ethnic winds artist, celebrated for her versatility, musical curiosity, and expressive command of a wide range of wind instruments. Her musical journey began at the age of four as a featured soloist on an unconventional set of pots and pans in her family’s living room, foreshadowing a lifelong passion for rhythm, sound, and exploration.

After early experiments with player piano, percussion, and recorders, Ashley began studying alto saxophone in her school band at age nine. A pivotal moment came during a visit to a local flea market, where she discovered a set of bamboo flutes. Drawing on her foundational saxophone technique, she taught herself to play the smallest flute—marking the beginning of her deep connection with ethnic and world wind instruments.

In the summer of 2006, Ashley was selected to perform with Disney’s All American College Band, an experience that introduced her to the vibrant musical landscape of Los Angeles. She later completed her studies at the University of Arizona, training under Kelland Thomas and Grammy Award–winning saxophonist Timothy McAllister, before relocating to Pasadena with little more than her instruments and a dream of becoming a working LA musician.

That dream continues to thrive. Ashley performs across a wide spectrum of musical settings, appearing onstage with big bands and orchestras, and in pit orchestras for musicals, ballets, and operas. Her performances span intimate nightclubs, outdoor festivals, major concert halls, and prestigious theaters. Her instrumental range includes oboe, ocarina, shakuhachi, saxophone, and numerous world woodwinds.

Ashley has collaborated with internationally renowned artists including Camila Cabello, Lionel Richie, Michael Bublé, and Andrea Bocelli, and has appeared on major television productions such as The Voice, American Idol, and the American Music Awards. She is also an active studio musician, recording for film, animation, video games, and television.

Ustad Azizul Islam

Ustad Azizul Islam is one of Bangladesh’s most revered and internationally acclaimed flutists, celebrated for his profound contribution to Hindustani classical music. Born in Rajbari and raised in Chittagong, his musical journey is marked by dedication, discipline, and an enduring passion for the flute. Before fully devoting himself to music, he served as a captain in the merchant navy, where long periods at sea allowed him to immerse himself deeply in classical music and rigorous flute practice.

His formal training began under Pandit Priyoda Ranjan Sen Gupta and continued under several distinguished masters, including Ustad Velayet Ali Khan, Ustad Bahadur Khan, Pandit Devendra Murdeshwar, and Pandit V. G. Karnad—disciples within the lineage of the legendary Pandit Pannalal Ghosh. Through this rich and rigorous tutelage, Ustad Azizul Islam developed a powerful command over raga, layakari, breath control, and tonal purity.
